Will he be airbrushed out of history?

At Ace of Spades JJ Sefton has this to say about Martin Luther King Jr.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. whose message of content of character over color of skin now flies directly in the face of mainstream (if you can call it that) Leftist ideology of "diversity," "multiculturalism" and the demonization of the American ideal of a meritocracy that it's only a matter of time before he, too, is airbrushed out of history and all the streets named after him get the Confederate general and Columbus treatment. How's that for sick irony?
