Tears flowed and standing ovations abounded after Noah Galloway, a U.S. Army veteran who lost both his left arm and left leg to an IED while serving in Iraq back in 2005, took to the dance floor during Monday night’s 20th season premiere of “Dancing With the Stars.”

Galloway, 33, was met with a rousing applause after he performed the cha-cha with partner Sharna Burgess, proving that his personal motto — “No Excuses Noah” — is more than mere rhetoric.
