The President would like you to know that this is all a bunch of hype and you should totally not be getting your panties in a wad because of terrorism. Also, balance. Or whatever. The thing is, he says that the NSA isn’t listening into your phone calls, which no one was accusing them of doing. They were accusing them of collecting an insane amount of data on you in the name of the War on Terror. But hey, the red herring always works!

They keep hollering “Transparency, transparency! We’re the most transparent admin there’s ever been!!!” Well, now I finally starting to understand their definition of ‘Transparency. They want to see EVERYTHING.
