Not successful in prison, so release him back to the community!

Evan Ebel spent the last six years in solitary confinement. He was anything but a model prisoner. Governor Hickenlooper is friends with Evan Ebel's father, who is an attorney. Hickenlooper brought in Tom Clemons to be Colorado's prisons chief. He wanted Clemons to stop or slow down the number of people put in solitary confinement.

9 News has obtained an audio clip of Ebel telling the parole board that he is going to succeed on the outside, even though his prison record was anything but successful. They let him out. A few weeks later Ebel killed Clemons and a pizza delivery man. Go here to listen to the audio clip of Ebel assuring the parole board he would succeed on the outside.
