Having it both ways

It seems to me that all too many bloggers and pundits want to have it both ways. They want to complain that our security was lax regarding the Tsarnaev brothers, but they are outraged when it is reported that government agencies are spying. By the way, how is it that foreign newspapers like the Guardian can get access to "Top Secret" U.S. intelligence?
