How did Michael Bloomberg get so rich? He doesn't seem like such a good investor to me. For example, he has been investing heavily in Colorado politics. First, he invested $350,000 to fight the recall campaign against a Colorado State Senator. That Senator was recalled in September.
Then, he invested #1.3 million in a failed effort to convince Colorado voters to raise taxes by over one billion dollars. That was defeated by a 30 percent margin this week.
