Keep trying, Zuckerberg

At The Wall Street Journal, Christopher Mims writes about Facebook. Zuckerberg's original goal was to connect people. Now he wants to bring the world closer together.
Facebook may well live up to Mr. Zuckerberg’s stated goals. Or, it could bow to economic logic: In first nine months of 2017 alone, the company’s “engaging” News Feed algorithm has helped drive revenue up 47%.

Do I glance at Facebook's newsfeed? Yes, but it does not compare with others that I use. In fact, there are often obviously false click bait stories about someone dying or quitting his chosen profession. Read more here.
