Rev. Wright's Speech to the NAACP
I sought to find Rev. Wright's speech to the NAACP. These are the videos I found, but I realize that none of them are complete, and there is some overlap. I found him to be brilliant and funny, a real spellbinding entertainer. What do you think?
I personally cringe just hearing one of these. It makes me as a Christian sick, as an American angry and as a white furious. None of those are healthy emotions.
webutante, As usual, you have nailed it, except that I would add that he is no dummy. I can see how he would be able to entertain and be loved by people who would rather say "poor me" than realize the opportunities America affords.
