Four conservatives against five liberals

Judge Kavanaugh wrote the dissenting opinion in the Supreme Court case yesterday. He was joined by the other three conservatives, Alito, Thomas and Gorsuch. Notice that I have not mentioned Bush appointee Roberts who voted with the other five liberals. Kavanaugh believes that in discriminating against churches, California violated the First Amendment.
