Martin Luther King Jr. Day is next Monday, January 20. I decided today to read his famous letter King had written from a Birmingham Jail. He wrote it to eight Alabama Christian and Jewish clergy who had expressed in a statement that they deplored the demonstrations taking place in Birmingham for which Dr. King had been arrested and incarcerated.
