Of pride, intolerance, and love

Floppy-haired cutie pie Justin (Trudeau, not Bieber): "Whatever, same difference."

Michael Knowles is Andrew's guest. They talk about gay pride. Andrew makes the point that gay people have the right to be gay because people have the right to do what they want. But if they have the right to do what they want then certainly other people have the right to disagree or dislike them or not celebrate them. By the same logic that gives them their rights, other people have the right not to approve them. Gay pride marchers pretended they were saying we want to be free, but what they were really saying is "You have had the power, now we want it!"

Who has the right to tell you what to believe? Government? Your corporation? Nobody!

Andrew believes most gay people are natural conservatives.

In his segment on the culture, Andrew talks about the two celebrity suicides of the past week. What cures depression? Love! Acting on a common heritage in the heart of God. We are all of infinite worth to God. If you act that out with another person you are expressing God's love. We are spiritual beings, not chemistry sets.
