I was trying to explain to someone why Trump’s alleged “lies” are much less serious than Hillary’s actual lies. Trump engages in puffery, a legally recognized form of commercial boasting that allows someone to make obviously exaggerated statements that everyone understands are extreme opinions (“best,” “biggest,” “yuuuge,” “ugliest”) rather than actual falsehoods. Hillary, on the other hand, deals in absolute falsehoods. I finally figured out that a picture might be the best way to demonstrate the difference:
This blog is looking for wisdom, to have and to share. It is also looking for other rare character traits like good humor, courage, and honor. It is not an easy road, because all of us fall short. But God is love, forgiveness and grace. Those who believe in Him and repent of their sins have the promise of His Holy Spirit to guide us and show us the Way.
