Democrat legislators unable to support human decency

Earlier this year in Longmont, Colorado a woman cut open the stomach of another woman, because the other woman was pregnant, and the first woman wanted the second woman's baby. The pregnant mother survived, but the baby did not. Because the baby had not yet been born, homicide charges were not brought. Republicans in the Colorado legislature tried to fix that defect in the law. Democrats unanimously opposed the bill. Here is the story on the legislature's inability to act.
