Will Lois Lerner be the first of the Obama administration to go to jail?

Representative Steve Stockman announced that a resolution has been filed in the House of Representatives directing the Sergeant-of-Arms to arrest her and detain her in the D.C. jail. Bryan Preston writes:

Lerner has come under renewed scrutiny this week on two fronts. Emails show that she was aware of a key email that later went “missing.” More importantly, other released emails show that she sought to hide information from Congress as it was investigating the IRS targeting of Tea Party groups.

The House has the power to arrest and jail on charges of contempt.
