Deteriorating relations

Germany took an unusual step this week. They ordered a top intelligence official in the U.S. Embassy to leave the country. Their complaint about the Obama administration sounds precisely the same as the complaints about the Obama administration from Republican members of Congress: "U.S. policy has simply been to stonewall, to answer no questions, and to leave Germany alone with this problem," said one German politician. "There is substantial anger in the government."
