Shutdown? It is not stopping us from continuing to fund al Qaeda in Syria!

Andrew McCarthy's latest article in National Review is a must-read. Usually I excerpt what I think are the best points authors make in articles. However, in this case, every paragraph is a must read. McCarthy points out that we are continuing to fund al Qaeda in Syria, while denying death benefits to families of Americans killed in Afghanistan because of the "shutdown."
