Mandy Connell is a new talk radio show host here in Denver. She came here from Louisville, and seems to be another good voice for liberty and common sense. On her blog she posts this reminder that you have probably seen before, but I like it, so here is the cycle many countries have gone through. Where are we on this circle?

From liberty to abundance;
From abundance to selfishness;
From selfishness to complacency;
From complacency to apathy;
From apathy to dependence;
From dependence back into bondage.
