Watch what he does, not what he says

Today Barack Obama was inaugurated again. I did not see or listen. I am listening to a man I respect talk about Obama's speech. Jon Caldera says it was a great speech. Yes, Obama has a great future as a speech-giver. If Bill Clinton can get rich giving speeches, just imagine how fabulously wealthy Barack Obama will become.

As for now, I say it is not what he says in speeches, it is what he does.

Even more staggering, Clinton has earned a whopping $65 million in speaking fees, which included $7.5 million for 36 speeches in 2009 alone. And by 2011, thanks in part to the 14 books he has written, Carter was worth approximately $7 million.
