Pessimism, or realism?

Curt Dale writes,
Below is another superb column by my daughter, Suzann. I will add to one comment she makes that is very true, but presents us great difficulty. I'm not stealing her thunder, just underlining her point. She says, "...AND watch the other side." That is a major problem for we who consider ourselves real Republicans vs RINO, or want to know who the real Conservatives are, or are trying to figure out who the real Tea Party Candidates are. Oh, it's easy enough to figure out the Democrats. They are one enormous collection of pigs in a poke, and they seem to have quit trying to cover up that they are Socialist, Communist, and Islamic Terrorists sympathizers at their very roots. But we do have a huge contingent of sleazy RINO and pretenders that want to be on "our side" who frankly are not one whit better than the Dems. Well, you and I are going to have to dissect and carve up our "Republican" candidates, seemingly good or obviously bad, in order to find who is a person with a chance, WILLINGNESS AND THE HARD ROCK GUTS to tear out the belly of Obama-ism and get us back to something sane in our government. Otherwise, Boobama madness will just worsen, whether it's Hillary, Sanders or a useless RINO, the latter of which we have plenty.

Welcome 2016!

Another new year and another opportunity to change our destiny. If we have the strength and determination to do so! But, we must be ever vigilant and hard working to overcome those who stand against us . . . many of them in positions of power within our own governments.

While I hate to start the new year on a pessimistic note, I feel it is more about realism than pessimism. The truth is that we are presently mired in a morass of political. societal, and ethical notions that threaten the very freedom and fabric of our nation. Our heritage of liberty and individualism is being sunk with the weight of stupidity and cupidity into a quagmire of ideas fueled by those who tout progressiveness and political correctness . . . with concern for facts and how the real world actually operates. They just think that if it sounds good and feels good it will work good. OOPS! Not exactly!!!

So, in the interest of keeping things at least somewhat desirable for our children and grandchildren, let’s all get out there to campaign, vote, AND watch the other side for the 2016 elections!!! We must be aware that voter fraud, despite what the liberal media reports, does take place in massive numbers. Conservative observers must be out in numbers to help keep the elections as honest as possible. Of course, this would all be much easier with voter photo ID laws in place all across our nation, but we know how little the other side wants that to happen!

Anyway, despite my fears for the new year and the next elections, I also have hope for 2016. I see possibilities for renewal. I anticipate much joy and happiness in regards to my home and family. I pray there will be much good for all y’all reading this as well. God bless and happy new year!!!
