How newspapers distort facts

Do you want to see an example of how newspapers distort the news? The Denver Post has a big headline in its business section today which says in big bold print Post records gains in digital readership. However, buried in the next-to-last paragraph it admits that even including the gains in digital readership, overall circulation decreased 4% on Saturday and 3% daily over the last six month reporting period. None of that, however, was in bold print.

Shouldn't the headline have been Post records decrease in circulation?
